Families in Cuba are reporting increasing instances of home robberies and thefts of essential goods. In Cárdenas, Matanzas, a family with young children was targeted during the early hours of a Sunday. Intruders broke into the residence, stealing electronics, jewelry, food supplies, and power equipment, including an EcoFlow energy station and a motorina.

In Havana, a family reported the theft of an electric tricycle, a vehicle valued between $3,000 and $4,950 that serves as a vital tool for livelihood and transportation amidst fuel shortages. The theft involved breaking locks and door latches. These incidents highlight a growing trend of crime and deteriorating security within the country as citizens struggle with the ongoing economic crisis.
