Cuban Book Fair events held in Cienfuegos and Pinar del Río

The Cuban Book Fair is being held in multiple provinces, featuring diverse literary programs and cultural tributes. In Cienfuegos, the 34th International Book Fair is scheduled for August 27 to 30. Local publishers Ediciones Mecenas and Reina del Mar Editores will present 25 titles covering identity, social criticism, and tradition, including works of poetry, theater, and children's literature.

In Pinar del Río, the fair is running through August 23, dedicated to writers José Raúl Fraguela and Enrique Giniebra. The event includes the inauguration of the Calle Real cultural center to mark the 65th anniversary of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC). The program features exhibitions on the iconography of Fidel Castro and commemorations of works by National Literature Prize winner Nersys Felipe.
