Cuban music celebrations scheduled for Saturday in Spain

Several events celebrating Cuban musical traditions are scheduled for Saturday, September 5, in Spain.

At the Teatro Leal in La Laguna, the Septeto Santiaguero will perform their ‘Y sigo pa’lante tour’. The group, which has won two Latin Grammys for Best Traditional Tropical Album, will showcase thirty years of musical history, including genres such as son cubano, guaracha, bolero, and changüí.

In Tazacorte, the ‘Fiesta Cubana’ will take place at the Plaza Primero de Mayo. The festival features a lineup of various artists including Fran Ramos, Vega y Charanga, Troveros de Asieta, Grupo Libertad, and Primera Marcha, offering a continuous program of Caribbean rhythms from 18:00 until the early hours of the morning.
