Salvador Valdés Mesa, Vice President of the National Defense Council, and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz visited the San Pedro-Centro Cotorro Defense Zone in Havana to inspect economic and social programs and combat readiness.

Prime Minister Marrero Cruz called for a precise assessment of resources regarding the economy, armed struggle, and the population, specifically noting the need to monitor energy maps and public charging points.
