Cucaier seeks reference space for transplant patients in Entre Ríos

Representatives from the Centro Único Coordinador de Ablación e Implante de Entre Ríos (Cucaier) met with Vice Governor Alicia Aluani to discuss the need for a dedicated reference space in Paraná. The facility would serve patients and their families who must travel from various parts of the province for transplant-related care, medical controls, and medication provision.

Currently, 226 residents of Entre Ríos are on waiting lists for various organs and tissues. Officials emphasized the importance of providing support for families during the different stages of the transplant process, citing a recent case where the Vice Governor assisted a young heart transplant recipient by securing housing for the patient and their family.
