Cudi Cup International Tennis Tournament to be held in Şırnak

The 5th Cudi Cup International Tennis Tournament is scheduled to take place in Şırnak, Turkey, from September 21 to September 26. The event will bring together 73 athletes from six different countries, including Turkey, Russia, India, the United States, Yemen, and the United Kingdom.

Organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and coordinated by the Turkish Tennis Federation, the tournament will be held at the Şırnak University tennis courts, utilizing two indoor and four outdoor courts. Local officials, including Şırnak Governor Birol Ekici and Mayor Mehmet Yarka, have highlighted the event as a symbol of peace and unity, noting its role in showcasing the city's capacity to host international organizations.

The tournament aims to promote regional stability and sports development, following a previous motto of “not rocket sounds, but racket sounds” to emphasize the transition toward peace and security in the region.
