Cuenca announces traffic restrictions for August 30 fireworks

The city of Cuenca has announced significant traffic and parking restrictions for August 30 to accommodate a fireworks display scheduled around midnight.

According to the Local Police and the City Council, parking will be prohibited starting at 08:00 on Isaac Albéniz Street and within designated sections of the security perimeter. Affected areas include parts of Ángeles Gasset, Francisco Suay, Francisco de Luna, and Joaquín Rodrigo streets.

Authorities have implemented traffic restrictions on streets adjacent to the security zone during the event. Residents and attendees are advised to arrive early, respect all safety barriers, and follow instructions from security personnel. Safety recommendations include constant supervision of minors and avoiding bringing pets to the event due to the noise from the pyrotechnics.
