Cuenca business group supports real estate agency registry in Castilla-La Mancha

The Confederation of Employers of Cuenca (CEOE-Cepyme Cuenca) has expressed support for the establishment of the Registry of Specialized Real Estate Intermediation and Advisory Agencies in Castilla-La Mancha. The proposal, submitted to the Minister of Development, Nacho Hernando, by the Regional Federation of Real Estate Agencies of Castilla-La Mancha, aims to regulate the sector and combat professional intrusion.

CEOE-Cepyme Cuenca maintains that the registry will increase commercial guarantees, promote technical qualification among operators, and strengthen consumer protection. The measure is intended to formally recognize companies operating under rigorous standards and best practices, providing security to clients when hiring mediation services.

Additionally, the organization welcomed support from the Ministry of Development for a sectoral quality seal. This initiative, to be coordinated with the Ministry of Health due to consumer protection competencies, will certify the professional practices of agencies meeting specific requirements to consolidate user trust.
