Cuenca Craft Fair opens with 84 exhibitors and increased regional support

The XXXIX Cuenca Craft Fair has opened with 84 exhibitors, an increase of 16 compared to the previous edition. The event aims to connect artisans with the public and create new commercial opportunities.

Marian López, the Junta delegate in Cuenca, highlighted the economic and cultural importance of the sector, noting that there are currently 63 artisans in the province with official credentials. Since the start of the current legislature, the Government of Castilla-La Mancha has granted approximately 180,000 euros in aid to the provincial artisan sector. More than half of these funds have been directed toward digitalization and promotion to help professionals reach new audiences and open new sales channels. The call for applications for 2026 is currently being processed.
