Cuenca hosts 17th edition of Used Vehicle Fair

The 17th edition of the Used Vehicle Fair has opened at the La Hípica fairgrounds in Cuenca. Organized by the local association of dealerships, Convecu, the event showcases approximately 150 vehicles, including both new models and used cars up to five years old.

The exhibition features a variety of engine types, including electric, hybrid, diesel, and gasoline, covering both passenger cars and industrial vehicles. Fidel Monedero, president of the Convecu dealerships, noted that the fair has become a significant event within the Castilla-La Mancha region.

David Peña, president of the provincial employers' association, highlighted the economic impact of the automotive sector in the province, which supports around 300 permanent jobs and over 1,000 indirect positions. The inauguration was attended by Cuenca Mayor Darío Dolz and other regional officials.
