Cuenca Local Police seek owner of sheep found in historic district

The Cuenca Local Police have requested public assistance to identify the owner of two sheep found wandering near the Puerta de San Juan in the historic district of Cuenca.

Authorities are investigating the origin of the animals to determine which nearby farm or plot they may have escaped from. Residents with relevant information are encouraged to contact the emergency operations center via 092. Such incidents involving livestock entering urban areas are occasionally caused by the proximity of the historic center to the Júcar and Huécar river valleys.
