Cuenca San Julián festivities begin with no major incidents

The first day of the San Julián festivities in Cuenca proceeded normally without serious incidents, according to data provided by the Cuenca City Council for Friday, August 21.

Medical services reported only two minor cases involving a cut and a wound. Safety measures for children included the distribution of 49 identification bracelets at the Child Care Point to enhance security in crowded areas.

Additionally, the ‘Punto Violeta’ awareness stations reached 85 people with information and sensitization efforts. This included 66 people at the fairgrounds and 19 people in the concert area.
