Cugir City Hospital to receive 20 million lei for clinic modernization
Cugir City Hospital has launched a project to modernize its outpatient clinic infrastructure and expand screening programs. The investment has an eligible value of over 20.2 million lei and is funded through the Health Program via a contract with the Ministry of Investments and European Projects.
The project, which includes the preparation of technical documentation to obtain construction permits, has an implementation period of 26 months. The primary goals are to strengthen local capacity for prevention, early diagnosis, and monitoring of major public health diseases.
Key objectives include modernizing the integrated outpatient clinic, equipping it with advanced medical technology for early diagnosis, and implementing cardiovascular, oncological, and ophthalmological screening programs. The initiative aims to increase population access to medical services and reduce regional health inequalities.
