Cuiabá advances community and museum revitalization projects

In Cuiabá, several local infrastructure and revitalization projects are underway. Councilwoman Paula Calil has allocated R$ 185,000 in parliamentary amendments for the renovation of the Parque Residencial Community Center. Additionally, the city has completed paving, drainage, and accessibility works on ten streets in Jardim Presidente II, representing an investment of R$ 4.2 million.

Simultaneously, the Cuiabá City Hall is advancing the revitalization of the Museu da Caixa d’Água Velha. The project includes restoring the wooden deck using materials provided through a partnership between the State Secretariat for the Environment (Sema) and the Fundação Nova Chance. The restoration work is being carried out by inmates from the Fundação Nova Chance as part of a social reintegration initiative. Other improvements at the museum include handrail repairs, fountain revitalization in partnership with Águas Cuiabá, new air conditioning units, and the installation of security cameras via the Vigia Mais program.
