Cuiabá and Mato Grosso partner to revitalize Orla do Porto

The Cuiabá City Hall and the Government of Mato Grosso are collaborating on a revitalization project for the Orla do Porto on Avenida Beira-Rio. The technical partnership aims to recover existing structures, replace flooring, and implement landscaping and arborization. The project also includes infrastructure improvements such as new lighting and the installation of 98 cameras from the VigiaMais program to enhance security at the Orla, the Port Market, the Municipal Aquarium, and the River Museum.

While a definitive timeline has not been established, technical stages are expected to advance in the coming months. The goal is to contract the works by the end of 2026, with services potentially beginning in 2027. Additionally, discussions are underway regarding the potential renovation of Vila Cuiabana to address its current unfinished state.
