Cuiabá approves 792 new apartments and R$ 3.1 million in infrastructure works
The Municipal Council for Strategic Development (CMDE) has approved the neighborhood impact studies for two new multi-family residential complexes, ‘Chapada Primavera’ and ‘Chapada dos Nobres’, in the Jardim Comodoro neighborhood of Cuiabá. Developed by MRV, the projects will consist of approximately nine towers with up to 11 floors each, totaling 792 housing units.
As part of the mitigation and compensation measures, the developer will fund over R$ 2.6 million in urban infrastructure and sanitation works for the local area. Key improvements include the construction of a 550-meter rainwater drainage network to address erosion issues, asphalt paving and earthmoving for several streets, and the expansion of water supply and sewage collection networks. Construction is expected to begin late this year and conclude by 2028.
