Cuiabá City Council honors public resource management professionals

The Cuiabá City Council has issued an unprecedented Motion of Applause to 14 employees from the City Hall's Directorate of Agreements. The recognition, presented by Council President Paula Calil, honors the technical work performed in capturing and managing public resources.

The Directorate of Agreements is responsible for managing agreements between the municipality and state and federal governments, as well as tracking funds from parliamentary amendments. Their work includes developing work plans, processing projects, monitoring execution, and ensuring accountability.

Leandro Alves, the technical director of Agreements, emphasized that the sector's role requires technical rigor and transparency to ensure that captured resources are successfully transformed into public works and services.
