Cuiabá City Hall declines contract renewal with ASPE
The Cuiabá City Hall has decided not to renew its contract with the Association of Public Servants of the Municipality (ASPE) due to a failure to meet administrative requirements. The decision follows the identification of breaches in the terms established under Accreditation No. 003/2025.
According to the Municipal Secretariat of Economic Management, the primary issue is the failure to contribute to the Civil Servant Training Fund. Per the contract, ASPE was required to allocate 1% of its revenue to this fund. Because these payments were not made, the association lacks the necessary documentation to prove its regulatory compliance.
Jairo Pereira Rocha, the Deputy Secretary of Economic Management, stated that the lack of these payments resulted in the entity being unable to provide the required certificate of compliance. The City Hall will formally notify the association regarding the non-renewal and subsequent procedures.
