Várzea Grande implements servant career plans and community services

The municipality of Várzea Grande is implementing several administrative and social initiatives. The local government has approved seven projects aimed at valuing public servants, including new Career, Position, and Salary Plans (PCCS) for health professionals, social assistance workers (SUAS), and other executive branches. This restructuring affects 3,017 permanent employees across 17 careers and is intended to align with fiscal responsibility laws.

In terms of social services, the Ministério Público de Mato Grosso, in collaboration with municipal health and consumer protection (Procon) agencies, held a citizenship event in the Asa Bela neighborhood. The action provided free medical, dental, and vaccination services, as well as legal guidance and employment assistance.

Additionally, social assistance centers (CRAS) in the region are facilitating access to essential benefits for vulnerable populations and the elderly, including the Continuous Cash Benefit (BPC), social tariffs for electricity, and registration for the Cadastro Único. Infrastructure maintenance is also ongoing, with crews performing road repairs, drainage maintenance, and cleaning in various neighborhoods such as Nova Várzea Grande and Monte Castelo.
