Cuiabá completes R$ 4.26 million paving project in Jardim Presidente II

The Cuiabá City Hall has completed paving and drainage works in the Jardim Presidente II neighborhood, located in the Grande Coxipó region. The project, executed by the Municipal Secretariat of Infrastructure and Works, involved the paving of ten streets, covering more than two kilometers of roadway.

The infrastructure project received a total investment of R$ 4,261,880.99, funded through the Finisa program and municipal resources. The works included the application of Hot Mix Asphalt (CBUQ), earthmoving, subgrade reinforcement, and the installation of curbs, gutters, and a modern drainage system featuring storm drains and deep sub-surface drains to manage groundwater levels.

While the initial estimate aimed to benefit 4,000 residents, the final project is expected to serve approximately 5,000 people. During execution, the scope was expanded to include additional streets such as Ceará, Piauí, Esperança, and Rua 24 to address areas previously suffering from dust and mud issues.
