Campo Grande begins central road resurfacing project

The city of Campo Grande, in partnership with Águas Guariroba, has launched a major infrastructure project to resurface 20 kilometers of roads in the central region. The works include Avenida Primeiro de Maio, Pedro Celestino, Avenida Madri, and several other streets.

The project serves a dual purpose: replacing aging water supply pipelines and providing new pavement. Because the existing asphalt is too old for simple pothole repairs, a complete resurfacing is required to modernize the city's infrastructure. The initiative is a partnership between the municipal government and the sanitation concessionaire, Agereg, to improve urban mobility and water distribution.
