Cuiabá Employment Fair Offers 1,500 Job Vacancies

The municipal government of Cuiabá took part in a job fair hosted by the University of Cuiabá (Unic Beira Rio) on Tuesday, July 28. The event, held in Block B of the university campus, featured more than 1,500 vacancies, including over 600 positions offered directly by the municipal Department of Labor, Employment and Entrepreneurship.

Participating employers covered a wide range of sectors, providing roles such as administrative assistants, sales consultants, retail staff, drivers, safety technicians, pharmacists, HR analysts, commercial managers, electricians, mechanics, forklift operators, and more. Salaries ranged from a minimum wage up to R$ 10,000, and specific openings were reserved for people with disabilities. Companies represented included Grupo Pereira (with the Comper, Fort Atacadista and Trudy’s brands), ALT Brasil, Agro Ferragens Luizão, Mônaco Diesel, Biológica Farmácia de Manipulação, Drogasil, RDanillo RH and Assaí Atacadista. Attendees were required to bring identification, CPF, work permit and an updated résumé.
