Cuiabá environmental team undergoes drone training

The Cuiabá City Hall environmental licensing team recently completed a 10-hour training program focused on using drones for environmental analysis and monitoring. The training was conducted by the Regional Intelligence Agency of the Specialized Policing Command of the Mato Grosso Military Police (PMMT).

The technology is intended to serve as a complementary tool for field surveys, territory monitoring, and identifying environmental changes. By providing detailed aerial imagery, drones allow technicians to obtain a broader view of analyzed areas, making data collection more agile and precise.

Lise Bokorni, the municipal Secretary of the Environment, stated that the initiative aims to qualify public servants and integrate new technologies into environmental management processes to strengthen technical analyses.
