Cuiabá experiences temperature drop after extreme heat
Cuiabá experienced a significant drop in temperature this Sunday, following a period of extreme heat where temperatures had reached as high as 41°C. The city woke up to much milder conditions, with minimum temperatures recorded between 21°C and 23°C.
The weather shift brought increased cloud cover and a reduction in direct sunlight, providing relief to residents after several days of intense heat. While the sky remains cloudy with the possibility of isolated rain, meteorological models do not indicate significant rainfall accumulation.
Despite the cooler temperatures, the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) has noted a potential danger due to low relative humidity, which is expected to fluctuate between 15% and 90%.
