Rio de Janeiro police arrest convicted rapist at TV studios

A series of criminal incidents and police operations have been reported across various Brazilian regions. In Rio de Janeiro, police arrested Allan Christian Rocha de Oliveira, a 37-year-old actor working as an extra, at the Record TV studios in Vargem Pequena. Oliveira was wanted for a definitive conviction regarding the crime of vulnerable rape and had eight years of a semi-open regime sentence remaining.

Other notable crimes include a man arrested in Campinas for holding his ex-partner captive for three days, and a woman arrested in Além Paraíba after driving without a license and striking seven people in a public square. In Cuiabá, four men were arrested following a knife attack triggered by a dispute over a beverage bill.

In Alagoas, suspects in a shooting in Arapiraca allegedly identified members of the Comando Vermelho criminal faction as the masterminds. Additionally, a student in Campo Grande was targeted in an operation involving the storage and sharing of child sexual abuse material. In Rio Grande do Norte, a man was apprehended after a multi-state pursuit involving the abduction and physical abuse of his son, who had been under the care of his aunt.
