Cuiabá hosts 8th Chocolate Festival to showcase cocoa production

The 8th Chocolate Festival in Cuiabá is scheduled to begin on the evening of the 28th at the Arena Pantanal. Supported by the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Mato Grosso (Sistema Famato), the event will run until the 30th.

The festival aims to promote cocoa culture, rural production, gastronomy, and family farming. A central attraction is the ‘trail of knowledge and flavor,’ which offers a sensory immersion into the cocoa process—from the plant and fruit to the processing of almonds and final chocolate production.

In addition to educational workshops for children and adults, the event will feature the ‘Feira Natural do Campo,’ a space dedicated to the marketing and promotion of products from family farming.
