Cuiabá implements mechanized mowing robots for urban maintenance
The Cuiabá City Hall has implemented mechanized mowing equipment, referred to locally as robots, to enhance urban maintenance services. The technology is being deployed by the Empresa Cuiabana de Zeladoria e Serviços Urbanos (Limpurb) to improve the efficiency and speed of cleaning major road corridors.
These mechanized tools are currently being utilized in several key areas, including the CPA, Trabalhadores, and Hélder Cândia avenues, as well as various public squares. Unlike conventional mowers that require manual transport and operation, these machines offer greater mobility and allow teams to cover extensive areas, such as medians and roadside verges, more effectively.
Limpurb operators have noted that the equipment significantly reduces the time required to complete tasks compared to traditional methods, thereby increasing the operational capacity of the city's conservation fronts.
