Cuiabá infrastructure: New paving bids and bridge construction underway
The Government of Mato Grosso has opened bidding processes for street paving projects in two Cuiabá neighborhoods, Parque Cuiabá and São Sebastião, with a combined planned investment of R$ 12.6 million. The Parque Cuiabá project, valued at R$ 3.7 million, involves drainage, paving, and signage for approximately one kilometer of roads. The São Sebastião project, budgeted at R$ 8.8 million, targets various streets in stages I and II of the neighborhood.
Additionally, the construction of a new concrete bridge over Córrego do Moinho has reached 83% completion. This R$ 3.69 million state-funded project is in its final stages, following the closure of the previous structure due to structural risks. Once finished, the 30-meter-long bridge will improve traffic flow between the Avenida das Torres region and Morada da Serra.
Through the State Secretariat of Infrastructure and Logistics (Sinfra-MT), the government is managing urban paving works across 13 neighborhoods in Cuiabá, totaling over R$ 71 million in investments.
