Cuiabá Municipal Choir opens singer selection process

The Cuiabá Municipal Choir has launched a new selection process to recruit new singers. Interested individuals can register via telephone starting Monday (21st) until September 25th.

Auditions will be held on September 25th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Municipal Secretariat of Culture in the Historic Center. On-site registration will also be available on the day of the audition for those unable to sign up in advance.

The selection process is led by conductor Carlos Taubaté and is open to individuals aged 16 and older. While prior experience in singing or choral work is considered a differentiator, it is not a requirement for participation.

According to Taubaté, the program focuses on musical interpretation, historical context, and the study of high-quality texts and poems to promote cultural enrichment and personal development.
