Cuiabá municipality launches high‑pay jobs and new women‑only training courses

The city of Cuiabá announced 440 job openings through its municipal employment system, offering salaries up to R$ 10,993 for a civil‑engineer position. Other high‑pay roles include CNC‑machinist (R$ 5,000), electromechanical operator (R$ 4,500) and fiscal analyst (R$ 4,000), all with benefits such as transport vouchers, health care and meal allowances.

In parallel, the municipal Women’s Secretariat opened registration for several free courses reserved for women. Classes begin on 6 July, covering snack preparation, elderly‑caregiver training (starting 13 July), gel‑nail artistry (27 July) and additional modules in mass‑aging, digital media for seniors and party makeup. Courses run on weekdays at local venues and are limited to a set number of participants.

Both initiatives aim to boost local employment and support financial autonomy for women in the region.
