Cuiabá opens new family health unit in Dr. Fábio neighborhood

The City of Cuiabá has officially inaugurated the Doutor Fábio Family Health Unit (USF) in the capital's eastern region. This marks the fifth family health unit delivered by the municipal administration in less than one year.

The facility underwent revitalization services starting in August and has been operational since Monday. The unit is expected to serve an estimated population of 16,000 people, including residents of the Dr. Fábio neighborhood and surrounding communities. Improvements to the site included structural interventions and the acquisition of new materials, furniture, and equipment to enhance both professional working conditions and patient comfort. The unit features a dental clinic and dedicated Family Health teams.
