Cuiabá pet adoption fair secures new homes for eight animals

A pet adoption fair organized by the Cuiabá City Hall resulted in the adoption of eight animals, including five adult dogs and three cats. The event, held at a Comper supermarket, allowed approximately 100 people to meet the animals and receive guidance on responsible pet ownership.

The initiative is a partnership between the municipal government and the Comper supermarket chain, which provides space for monthly fairs and accepts donations for a food bank. To ensure animal welfare, potential owners must complete a questionnaire regarding their living conditions and home structure. The next fair is scheduled for the second week of October.
