Várzea Grande and Cuiabá launch municipal tax regularization programs

The municipality of Várzea Grande is conducting the Refis 2026 Fiscal Regularization Program, allowing individuals and legal entities to settle tax debts related to IPTU, ISSQN, and business licenses. The program offers discounts of up to 80% on interest and fines for lump-sum payments.

For those choosing installment plans, the program provides progressive discounts: 60% for up to 12 installments, 40% for up to 24 installments, and 20% for up to 36 installments on debts exceeding 16,500 UPF/VG. Services are available in person at the Centro de Atendimento ao Contribuinte (CAC) and the Cristo Rei Subprefecture, or virtually via WhatsApp.

In Cuiabá, the municipal government has established a new deadline for its Fiscal Mutirão program. Between September 28 and October 30, 2026, taxpayers can formalize agreements through the municipal services portal, the REFIS Online portal, or in person at the Procuradoria Fiscal to resolve outstanding municipal debts.
