Cuiabá resident wins R$ 50,000 via tax invoice incentive program
A resident of the Coophema neighborhood in Cuiabá won R$ 50,000 after requesting a service tax invoice (NFS-e) for a R$ 16 parking fee. The win occurred during the sixth draw of 2026 for the 'Nota Cuiabana Premiada' program.
The program, managed by the Municipal Secretariat of Economy, aims to encourage fiscal citizenship by incentivizing consumers to request tax invoices with their CPF. This practice helps increase municipal tax collection, which is then reinvested into the city.
In this specific draw, a total of R$ 130,000 was distributed among 44 participants. Other notable prizes included R$ 25,000 for a resident of Residencial Park Diplomata Consil and R$ 10,000 for a resident of Morada do Ouro II. The draw was conducted with oversight from auditors and internal controllers to ensure transparency.
