Cuiabano attracts interest from Saudi Arabian clubs

Three Saudi Arabian football clubs are monitoring Vasco da Gama defender Cuiabano. An intermediary has been attending recent matches to observe the player's performance firsthand.

Despite the international interest, Cuiabano has expressed a priority to remain at Vasco. The player is well-adapted to Rio de Janeiro and wishes to stay with his family. Vasco's president, Pedrinho, has also indicated that retaining the player is a priority for the club's management.

Vasco holds a purchase option for the player valued at 10 million euros (approximately R$ 58.5 million), held by Nottingham Forest. If the option is exercised, Cuiabano's contract could be extended until 2030. The club's technical department highly values the player, citing his physical strength, technique, and readiness for high-level competition in the Brazilian Série A.
