Culcha Candela members involved in physical altercation on flight

Members of the Berlin-based band Culcha Candela were involved in a physical altercation on a Condor flight from Frankfurt to Berlin on Saturday evening. The incident occurred following the band's performance at the 'Glücksgefühle' festival.

Video footage shows a verbal dispute between band members Mateo Jaschik (Itchyban) and Johnny Strange, which escalated when Don Cali (Omar David Römer Duque) intervened. The situation turned physical as Don Cali reportedly grabbed a bandmate and tore his T-shirt. Despite attempts by DJ Chino con Estilo to mediate, the crew summoned the Federal Police (Bundespolizei).

Officers boarded the aircraft and escorted Don Cali off the plane. The flight subsequently departed for Berlin with a 42-minute delay. While the Federal Police confirmed an incident involving two male individuals, the band's management has not yet issued a statement regarding the cause of the conflict.
