Culdcept The First Saturn Tribute launches on modern consoles

Clear River Games, in partnership with developer City Connection and series creator Omiya Soft, has released Culdcept The First Saturn Tribute on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This digital launch follows the PC version released in July 2026, with a physical edition scheduled for shipment in November.

The title is a modernized version of the 1997 strategy classic that combines board-game mechanics with card-based combat. For the first time, the game includes English subtitles to accommodate Western audiences.

New quality-of-life features have been added to the gameplay, including a rewind function for checkpoints, quick save and quick load options, a toggleable Bonus Pack for increased Reward Cards, and a Reveal Hands feature for better visibility. Players act as Cepters in the Culdra Space universe, using custom 50-card decks to claim territory and summon creatures.
