Culiacán car wash owner shot in armed attack

In the first quadrant of Culiacán, Sinaloa, a man identified as 28‑year‑old Marco Antonio was shot multiple times while working outside a car‑wash business on the corner of Benito Juárez, Vicente Guerrero and Venustiano Carranza. Armed men arrived in a recent blue Toyota, demanded the owner, opened fire, and fled the scene.

The victim was rushed by family to a hospital in critical condition. Mexican Army units, state police and municipal police secured the area and began an investigation, but the assailants have not been identified.

Authorities have not released further details about the motive or the suspects, and the case remains under investigation.
