Culiacán Council approves tax exemption for property regularization
The Culiacán City Council, led by Mayor Ana Miriam Ramos Villarreal, has approved a tax exemption to facilitate property regularization in the Cumbres del Águila settlement. This measure grants an exemption from the Real Estate Acquisition Tax (ISAI) for the deed registration of the area located in the northeastern zone of Culiacán.
The decision, requested by the Sinaloa State Housing Commission, aims to provide legal certainty to more than 1,200 families, enabling them to access public services and secure their property rights.
During the same session, the Council addressed a collaboration agreement involving Banca Afirme and the Secretariat of Economic Development. Additionally, the Council reviewed 12 requests for early retirement pensions for members of the Municipal Preventive Police. The session also included the formal swearing-in of María Sugey López Soto as an alternate councilwoman.
