Culiacán: Two men killed in gas station shooting
Two men were shot and killed on Tuesday afternoon while refueling a vehicle at a gas station in the Humaya neighborhood of Culiacán, Sinaloa. The incident occurred around 3:00 PM at the Red Petroil station located at the intersection of Enrique Félix Castro and Obrero Mundial boulevards.
One victim has been identified as Miguel Ángel, a resident of the Santa Fe neighborhood who worked in auto body repair. The second victim, known by the nickname ‘El Hermano,’ was from Guasave and worked in air conditioning maintenance. The men were traveling in a green olive Ford Expedition with Baja California license plates.
According to reports, armed individuals on a motorcycle approached the vehicle and opened fire with both long and short weapons. The attackers fled the scene following the assault. Authorities, including elements from the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA), secured the area. Investigators recovered ballistic evidence and a drone from the vehicle's dashboard.
