Culinary and cultural experiences highlighted in Germany

Various culinary and cultural experiences are being highlighted in Germany. In the Burgstein ruins near Krebes, restaurateur Enrico Todt of ‘Zum Holzfäller’ is organizing an exclusive summer dinner for 30 guests on August 29. The event features a three-course menu accompanied by medieval music from the band ‘Ventus Infecto’ to create a symbiosis of history and gastronomy.

In the Altmühltal Nature Park, the design hotel ‘DAS ALTMÜHLTAL’ in Eichstätt is promoting holistic sensory experiences. Its fine-dining restaurant, STADERER, which received its first Michelin star in 2026, offers menus led by Chef de Cuisine Benjamin Schöneich. The cuisine combines classical French techniques with seasonal ingredients from the Altmühltal region, such as magnolia blossoms and wild garlic buds, paired with a curated selection of over 600 wines.
