Culinary events highlight gastronomy in Vienna and Amstetten

Austria is hosting various culinary events focused on diverse food and drink experiences. In Vienna, the Genusswelten fair is scheduled to take place from October 16 to 18, 2026, at the historic Palais Auersperg. The event will bring together various producers and brands, offering tastings of regional and international specialties, including cheese, spices, and wines. Featured exhibitors include Bio Weinhof Widerna, FINO, Vom Fass, and Weingut Schmölz.

In Amstetten, the 2026 Genussmeile event saw high demand, with all tickets sold out for the 350 attendees. The event featured nine local gastronomic businesses offering international cuisine in a tapas style, covering flavors from Greece, Korea, Vietnam, Palestine, Hungary, Germany, Mexico, Italy, and Austria. The team at Brothers in Hotel Exel was recognized for their Greek specialties.
