Culinary festivals held in Rzeszów and Olsztyn

Various culinary festivals are taking place across Poland, highlighting regional flavors and supporting local industries.

In Rzeszów, the ‘Karpaty na Widelcu’ festival is scheduled for September 18–20, 2026. Held in the city's Market Square, the event features Carpathian cuisine prepared by local chefs. Renowned culinary figure Robert Makłowicz serves as the event's ambassador. All proceeds from the festival are dedicated to the education of young cooks at the Gastronomy School Complex in Rzeszów. The program includes handicraft markets, wine tastings, culinary workshops, and meetings with Makłowicz.

In Olsztyn, the University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) is hosting the National Cheese Festival. This two-day event at the Kortowo campus brings together the dairy industry, featuring tastings, expert meetings, and competitions for all ages. Organized by the Faculty of Food Science, the festival serves as a platform for dairy producers to showcase products and share knowledge, connecting industry professionals with the public.
