Culinary Hotel Awards celebrates Canary Islands gastronomy
The second edition of the Culinary Hotel Awards was held at the historic Hotel Santa Catalina, a Royal Hideaway Hotel, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The event gathered approximately 250 attendees, including prominent figures from the Canary Islands' gastronomic and hotel sectors, as well as institutional and business representatives.
The awards aim to recognize and add value to the best gastronomic hotels in the archipelago, highlighting the professionals and the sector that serves as a vital economic driver for the region. To ensure credibility and rigor, the organizer, Prensa Ibérica, utilizes a jury of experts and four anonymous independent inspectors who conduct detailed reports on various establishments.
The gala featured musical performances by singer Esther Ovejero and a jazz quartet, alongside acrobatic displays by Dúo Paradise. The evening included the presentation of various honors, such as the award for best rooftop, set against a backdrop of high-end culinary offerings.
