Culinary leaders receive Banchet honors and join Las Vegas Grand Prix lineup

Chef Paul Kahan and Manny’s Cafeteria & Delicatessen have been named recipients of the 2027 Banchet Awards. Kahan will receive the Culinary Excellence Award, while Manny’s Cafeteria & Delicatessen will be honored with the Iconic Restaurant Award. The awards, which celebrate Chicago’s culinary scene, are scheduled to be presented in January.

In Las Vegas, the Bellagio Fountain Club has announced its culinary lineup for the 2026 Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix. The event, taking place from November 19-21, will feature a high-profile roster of chefs including José Andrés, David Chang, Mario Carbone, Masaharu Morimoto, and Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The program aims to integrate world-renowned hospitality with the sporting spectacle of the Grand Prix.
