Culinary reality shows Super Chef Celebrities and Top Chef VIP see new developments

New seasons of popular culinary reality competitions are arriving on television. Super Chef Celebrities is launching its sixth season, titled ‘Foodtruckers Edition’, on WAPA+ and WAPA Orlando starting September 8. This season features 12 celebrities paired with 12 food truck operators in a rotating partnership format where contestants must adapt to different teammates throughout the competition. The season also introduces ‘Noches de Flambeo’, a specific challenge for food truck operators to win cash prizes.

Meanwhile, tensions are rising in the fifth season of Top Chef VIP. Contestant Lupillo Rivera is facing conflict with Miguel Arce following a recent immunity challenge where Arce allegedly abandoned Rivera, leaving him at risk of elimination. The competition has seen significant interpersonal friction, with other contestants such as Carlos Ponce and Stephanie Salas also expressing dissatisfaction with Arce’s gameplay style.
