Culinary tips for frying eggs and cooking pasta

Various culinary techniques have been shared to improve common kitchen tasks, such as frying eggs and cooking pasta.

To prevent eggs from sticking to a pan, a method involves sprinkling a small amount of wheat flour onto a hot pan after adding butter or oil. This creates a thin layer that prevents direct contact between the egg and the surface, resulting in a crispier texture and edges that easily separate from the pan.

Regarding pasta, Chef Marcello Zaccaria suggests avoiding the common mistake of strictly following the package cooking time. He recommends removing the pasta from the water one to two minutes before the recommended time and finishing the cooking process directly in the sauce. This allows the pasta to absorb flavors while maintaining an al dente texture. For most sauces, a ratio of 100 grams of dry pasta to 100 grams of sauce is recommended.
