CULines to launch JSM service connecting Japan to emerging markets
CULines is launching its new JSM (Japan–Straits–Malaysia) service on September 5. The service aims to strengthen the company’s intra-Asia network and improve connectivity between Japan and emerging markets in South Asia, the Middle East, and the Red Sea.
The service will be operated through a slot-exchange cooperation with Ocean Network Express (ONE), allowing both carriers to share capacity. The port rotation includes Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Kobe, Keelung, Hong Kong, West Port Klang, and Singapore.
By utilizing West Port Klang and Singapore as transshipment hubs, the JSM service is intended to provide more efficient shipping options and reliable pathways for cargo moving between major Japanese gateways and fast-growing trade corridors across Asia and the Middle East.
