Cuéllar Local Police headquarters construction progresses

Construction of the new headquarters for the Cuéllar Local Police is progressing according to schedule and has reached an intermediate stage of execution. The project, located at 8 Magdalena Street, involves a total investment of 231,813.43 euros. Funding is provided by the Junta de Castilla y León through the General Local Economic Cooperation Fund, which contributes 195,744.02 euros, with the remainder covered by the Cuéllar City Council.

The new facility is expected to be completed by November 2026. Once operational, it will house the current force of 13 agents and will include specialized areas such as a public service zone, meeting rooms, offices, changing rooms, a warehouse, and machine rooms.

Currently, the Local Police operate from the ground floor of the City Hall. Moving to the new dedicated premises is intended to improve working conditions for officers, increase energy efficiency, and allow for the reorganization of the City Hall to improve accessibility for citizens.
