Cullera a Escena theater festival receives 71 applications

The 23rd edition of the ‘Cullera a Escena’ theater festival has received 71 candidate works from various companies. Organized by the Cullera City Council in collaboration with the Associació K-Lidoscopi, the festival is currently in the selection phase, where an organizing committee will choose the six final productions to participate in this year's edition.

Cultural Councilor Sílvia Roca noted that the high number of applications demonstrates strong confidence in the festival. The event aims to provide a diverse and versatile program of amateur theater, serving as a meeting point for the performing arts.

Performances are scheduled for several Sundays throughout September, October, and November. The festival will conclude with a closing gala on November 15, which will include an awards ceremony recognizing categories such as best play, scenography, direction, and acting, as well as a public choice award.
